Stanchions for Crowd Control

Buy Stanchions in Montreal

A queue that reforms every morning does not need renting; it needs equipping. Belt and rope stanchions, brand new, in the exact models we put into service ourselves.

Who buys stanchions

Owning starts to make sense the moment the queue stops being an event and becomes a feature of the building. Here is where these posts end up:

  • Clinic and hospital reception

A line that reforms every morning and has to hold patients away from the counter as much as from each other.

  • Bank branches

A lane to the tellers that stays up all year and has to look exactly the same from one branch to the next.

  • Airports and metro stations

Lanes running from morning to night, taking knocks constantly, rebuilt by staff rather than by a crew.

  • Registrar and student services

Counters that are quiet for most of the term, then a queue out of the door in September.

  • Retail and service counters

Returns, pharmacy counters and order collection, where the queue has a fixed address.

  • Warehouse and trade counters

Pickup and dispatch windows wanting a marked lane drivers follow without being directed.

  • Government and municipal offices

Service windows and screening points where a layout is decided once and then left alone.

Buying or renting?

These are not competing options; they answer two different questions.

Buying suits a permanent queue: the same lane, in the same place, every day you open. Owned equipment goes up once and stays up, staff move it themselves, and every branch in a network can carry the same model.

Renting suits an event, a one-off, or a quantity you will never need again — a conference, a gala, a launch, a festival gate. You have it for your dates, delivered and taken away, without forty posts occupying a storeroom for the other fifty weeks of the year.

Renting for an event instead? Rentals live elsewhere: belt stanchions → for a queue, rope stanchions → for an arrival, or an event package → for both together.

The same stanchions we rent

What goes out for sale is the model our own fleet runs — the same belt and rope stanchions, in the same finishes, to the same specifications. What differs is the condition: sale equipment is brand new. We do not sell ex-rental stock.

That matters for a simple reason: this is equipment our own crew loads, moves and installs every week. When you ask how it behaves in a busy lane, the answer comes from use rather than from a catalogue.

FAQ

Is there a minimum quantity?

No. Any number at all, starting at one — a single post beside a reception counter is as ordinary an order as forty for an airport concourse.

Is the equipment new, or ex-rental?

New. Nothing we sell comes out of the rental fleet. It is the identical model, supplied new.

How do I find out what is in stock to buy?

Give us the model and the quantity, and we will come back on what can be supplied. Availability is confirmed on enquiry rather than published, because it moves.

Are replacement belts and ropes sold separately?

Yes. Belts and velvet ropes sell on their own, in any quantity — a worn belt does not force you to replace a whole post because it has had a hard year. Give us the model and the count, and availability arrives with the quote.

Do you deliver?

We deliver across Quebec. Include the delivery address with your enquiry and we will confirm timing alongside availability; larger orders heading outside the province can be arranged too — tell us where they are going.
